Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belts (MBBs) to support troops down range in Kuwait & Afghanistan
Our management consulting services in the public and private sectors are in high demand and are continuously expanding. We are actively seeking LSS MBBs who are willing and able to support their country and our troops down range for focused 3-4 month assignments based in Kuwait. Our troops need your help to help with logistics and improving the flow of equipment in and out Kuwait. Assignments run between approximately March - July.
Qualified candidates must be a USA citizen with an active Secret Clearance. Hazard pay available to recognize your efforts. This is a unique opportunity to help our troops with your MBB skills and earn good money for a focused period of time. You will be based in Kuwait with the potential of short focused trips to Afghanistan.
We are in need of process improvement expertise that can help step in to ongoing operations and add value with improvement opportunities that will facilitate the movement of equipment through multiple air, land, and seaports. Five principle areas of focus are: Contracting, LOGCAP, Foreign Military Sales, Maintenance Optimization, and Redeployment/Retrograde.
- These projects have, in some cases, been identified. Others will come as the work progresses. The hard requirement is for LSS expertise to have existing knowledge and experience in global supply chain, DoD and Army logistics, and a clear understanding of the types and constraints of shipping various classes of supply over military and leased air, sea, and ground shipping. Being logisticians first and LSS experts second is a hard requirement.
- This work will be performed primarily in Kuwait, with some travel to and support in Afghanistan. The hours will be extended (up to 10 hrs per day 6-7 days per week).
- We intend to place these individuals in theater in the March-April timeframe. Successful candidates will go through and pass training at the U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center (CRC) in Georgia prior to deployment.
Longer term CONUS based projects are possible after the completion of this assignment.
Candidates will undergo a comprehensive screening and interview process including:
- Developing presentation materials
- Applying Program Management, Strategy Development, and Lean / Six Sigma tools to derive possible future state scenarios to posed problems in a consultative manner
- Demonstrating skills in conflict resolution, change management, and teaming
Please reply via email in confidence, with references, copies of certifications, and 5 year salary history / requirements.
Thank you for support of our troops and your country.
