Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Facilitation
MainStream GS' Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) team members are experts in CPI tools and methods, each possessing over ten years of experience in industry and the public sector. Our approach to CPI Facilitation utilizes a vast array of CPI methodologies including, but not limited to, Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and CMMI. In addition to being technical experts in CPI methodologies, MainStream GS' CPI team members are also experts in organizational development tools and methods including team dynamics and change management.
MainStream GS' CPI team works with client leadership and project teams to execute projects and events in support of the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Under most circumstances we work side-by-side with the organization's internal facilitation corps training and mentoring them through their internal certification process. We also mentor and coach local leadership in understanding their role in sustaining gains achieved through Leader Standard Work, visual controls, QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety) management, and the discipline of workforce standard work.
MainStream GS understands that the easiest element of a project or event is the team activity of running the project or event. The hard part is proper scoping the project or event in the first place, and then ensuring that all follow up activities are performed with new standard work put in place and enforced. Our CPI team takes a DMAIC approach to all projects and events, whether they are Lean, ToC, CMMI, or Six Sigma in nature because the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control aspects of a project or event ensures a closed loop that enforces discipline and sustains gains achieved.
MainStream GS' CPI Facilitation will assist you in:
- Properly scoping charters for all projects and events
- Delivering periodic report outs with steering teams to provide vector checks, remove barriers, and support teams with proper resources
- Documenting new standard work for process and personnel
- Creating sustainment of gains through a Project Performance Tracking Plan
