Disaster Management Recovery
When disasters such as floods, hurricanes, tornados, ice storms, or earthquakes hit communities or regions, recovery requires a disciplined decision making process based on experience with business, civil society, and government. MainStream GS' Disaster Management Recovery program is ideally suited to proactively prepare your organization for potential man-made or natural disaster as well as to assist your organization when disaster strikes.
The approach of our Disaster Management Recover program is grounded in fact based decision making and industry standard project management principles. One of the primary goals of our Disaster Management Recovery program is to enable your Recovery Program Management Office (PMO) to coordinate disaster recovery planning and execution. A key to successfully accomplishing this goal is to develop and implement effective media and stakeholder communications. Our Program Managers will assist your organization in doing so and will work hand-in-hand with your leadership to create a stakeholder and recovery management plan that includes government, civil society, and business. Our Program Management team will conduct stakeholder interviews and work to establish partnerships across business, civil society, federal, state and local government.
In the event of a disaster, MainStream GS should be brought in immediately through local leadership and aligned with Federal programs. We deploy seasoned Disaster Management Recovery Program Managers to assist your Recovery PMO. This allows you to focus on disaster recovery and 'normal' course of business projects completed using volunteer, municipal, Chamber of Commerce, and Non-Profit community resources and processes. Our Program Managers will utilize their deep experience in process optimization to identify duplication of work and ensure that limited resource value is maximized. Our Disaster Management Recovery program will ensure there is a streamlined and straightforward plan for your community and region in order to leverage Federal programs effectively and efficiently.
